CCAoA Report: Financing an Anti-Racist Childcare System

Child Care Aware of America (CCAoA) has released a new 15-page resource that is intended to contribute to the growing body of work examining the role of financing for early childhood policies and what is required to achieve an anti-racist child care system. Created with a racial equity lens, it explores historical underpinnings of the child care system, public funding, and how far recent and proposed public funding strategies can take us. The analyses, resources, and more will be needed to inform comprehensive approaches to advancing racial equity throughout the many different levels of the complex U.S. child care system.
