$16M Pre-K expansion plan heads to city council

A plan to expand needs-based Pre-K in Shelby County is making its way to City Council.

The plan is a joint effort by the city, county and Shelby County Schools.

They’ve combined to chip in $16 million to expand Pre-K in the area and improve existing programs.
