Our Board

 Help make a difference in the lives of children and families in Memphis!

 

The F8M Board of Directors (Board) manages all business and affairs of the organization. Currently, the Board has a minimum of nine (9) members and a maximum of sixteen (16) members. The Board includes designees from the following bodies: the Mayor’s Office from the City of Memphis and Shelby County (may appoint up to two members each); Seeding Success; Shelby County Commission; and Memphis Shelby County Schools. The Board is organized into Committees, which currently include the Finance Committee, Nominating & Governance Committee, and Development & Sustainability Committee. The Board also organizes Working Groups for needed projects or initiatives. Past Working Groups of the Board include the HR Working Group, Communications Working Group, and F8M/Seeding Success Identity. The Board is administered by the Executive Committee which includes chairs of the current committees and Board officers.
